Members’ annual awards 2001. - "The Tony Brydon cup" – This trophy was donated to the club by Jan Tunstall in memory of her husband – a member has to be nominated by other members to receive this trophy. It is awarded to "The most Improved Dog/handler of the year". This year other members nominated Mandy LePatourel with Tilly. Mandy has only been attending training classes for approx 6 months. Tilly is a 1-year-old border collie with lots of character. They both enjoy flyball and agility. Tilly is hoping to become a "Barney Baby" in august 2002 when The 2nd Barnard Castle flyball team will be born.

"Maid of Orleans Trophy" – This trophy was donated to the club by Julie York in memory of her father. It is awarded to the starter dog that has gained the most points in competition over the last year. This year Natasha Davis with her border collie Jace won the trophy with 190 points. Natasha and Jace also won out of starters in 2001 at Glennifer agility show.

"The President’s cup" – This trophy is awarded to the member/dog that has gained the most points overall during the last year. This year Natasha Davis with her border collie Jace won the trophy with 189 points.
